Bitty Blessings

Hey all! Hoping your last week of August is going well. I needed a little stamp time tonight. This is a simple kraft and white baby, square card.
One of the other challenges was to add a real object. The safety pin was my real item. I stamped and heat embossed the PTI greeting. Here are the challenges I would like to enter.

The Less is More #343 use a real object challenge. Well hope the rest of your week goes smoothly.

Sail Away with Me

Weekends were made for stamping, right??
This card was a quickie with 3 different stamp sets. Bitty Blessings (PTI), Thank You for Being My Friend (Hero Arts) and a stitched set (unknown).

Greeting and sailboat are stamped in navy ink.  Waves are in Soft Sky ink and bottom of boat is colored with colored pencil. I also popped the die cut boat up with foam tape and covered with Wink of Stella. We spend quite a bit of time on the lake in the summer. Soaking in the sun for those winter months. Lol.

Summer Fun challenge.

Little Things

Good morning,  The cool mornings are starting to make it feel like fall. I have even seen a few trees with the leaves changing. All this inspired my card this morning. You all have seen those leaves that are so bright and beautiful they are hard to believe they are real.  I didn't do as good of job as God does but I tried.
Using Distress Inks on a white panel I stamped a set from SU called Lovely Leaves. I inked the leaf stamp with 3 colors then misted it with water before stamping. I also stamped one on vellum to cut out. The greeting is from Hero Arts set called Thank You for Being My Friend. I die cut the banner and stamped the sentiment in Palette black ink. Mounted this all on a A2 orange card base. The banner is popped up with foam tape.

Time Out autumn challenge.
SSS Wednesday add a sentiment challenge.
The Fusion challenge dictated my colors and layout. I also wanted to enter it in the Addicted to CAS and CAS-ual Friday's friend challenges.

As Prickly As I Could Get

Laugh Out Loud. I looked all through my stamps and an arrow was as close to prickly as I could get. If you had ever felt the tip of broad head arrow you will understand. The "prickly is the challenge word for the CAS-ology challenge this week. This card also is just one layer for the Addictied to CAS #117 challenge.
I used the My Favorite Things color challenge as my palette.

I used PTI white cardstock and Essentials by Ellen "Love You So" stamp set.

To create the target for my sentiment I used the back of the Sketched Shapes stamps from PTI masking between layers. I also used the sketch from MFT as the layout for my card.

Navy Silhouette

So another Christmas card in the books.  I started with Freshly Made Sketches challenge sketch.
Then added the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes Christmas challenge to create the CAS card.
I cut out my white panel with the sketch shape and placed my Essentials by Ellen dies on hanging the edges over the bottom edge of the white panel. Then die cut them. Marking the position of the bottom of the panel on navy cardstock I heat embossed the PTI greeting in white detail powder.  The hardest part was glueing the window and door cuts back in place. They are tiny. I did add a little Wink of Stella to the stars but you can not really see it.

Thanks for dropping by, Sue.

Watercolor Bloom

Hello and happy Friday to you! Hoping your week went well. Mine was a little bumpy but God was with me. This card was inspired by a photo challenge at Addicted to Stamps.
The photo reminded me of a stamp I had from PTI called Year of Flowers: Mum and the greeting is from Year of Psalms: March.
I started with Strathmore watercolor paper and heat embossed the images in white detail powder. Next I watercolor the images using Distress Inks. I also heat embossed the greeting in white detail powder on cardstock weight vellum. Trimmed and sewed the vellum to watercolor panel. Trimmed the panel down to 4" by 5.25" and mounted it on an aqua A2 card base. I also wanted to enter this in Unikos #42 flower challenge, Word Art Wednesday, Simon Says Stamp Add a Sentiment and Happy Little Stamps bloom challenge.

Sailboat Wishes

Hello, I wanted to make a quick card to play along with the Papertrey Ink "create with us" challenge.

We were to pick an inspiration card a model our card after it. So here is my inspiration.
And here is my card.
I also wanted to play with a few other challenges that included one layer, colors, for a child, vehicles, and nautical.
The color inspiration came from the Suger Peas photo. I used the shades of aqua, navy and tan from the wood in the pic. I also used stripes to draw the eye in like the pillow in the photo.

Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Riding with Friends

Good evening. One more quick card for tonight. The bicycle and greeting are both for Hero Arts. Banners and arrow are from PTI.

I started by masking an oval and stamping the banners over the mask. The used some chalk to create the halo around the oval. Last I stamped the bicycle and greeting after removing the mask.  I wanted to enter the card in the challenges below.

Squared In

Hello, Hope you are having a great weekend. We are having a super stressful week so I needed to take a quick stamping break. This is a card I created for
PTI Monochrome Color Pop challenge #294. I used PTI Super Stripes background and the greeting from Frame Out #1 all stamped with Pallet black ink on white cardstock. Framing it with a piece of Raspberry Fizz cardstock and a punched square window. Super simple. Hardest part was spacing the stripes on the card front. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

Leopard's Spots

Hey there, last card for tonight. This was one of those times I read through a challenge and thought I don't have any stamps that are safari animals.  Then I started brainstorming what do I have that will work. After a little internet research on leopard spots I noticed Avery Elle's Ikat Addition stamp set might work for this challenge.
I started with a natural ivory base card and layed out the curves with a bowl on my desk. Cut the curve by hand and traced a light pencil line to the inside of the card as a guideline for stamping. Stamped the spots in black and mustard ink with a little sponging of mustard ink over the top of the spots. I also sponges the Edge of the front panel. Finally I stamped the happy birthday from PTI Pen and Ink set on the front of the card. This made a pretty quick one layer card. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

I also used the Fusion layout.

Circle Tree

Happy Friday! You made it to the end of the week. Time to reward yourself with a little stamping. Over at the CLASSroom Ellen is challe...
